Orange Prize for Fiction

Der Orange Broadband Prize for Fiction ist ein Literaturpreis, der seit 1996 jährlich vom britischen Telekommunikationsanbieter Orange verliehen wird.

Der Preis zeichnet einen in englischer Sprache von einer Frau geschriebenen Roman aus, der im Jahr vor der Preisverleihung in England veröffentlicht worden sein muss.

Das Preisgeld von 30.000 Pfund wird von einem anonymen Mäzen gespendet; daneben erhält die Siegerin die Bessie, eine Bronzestatuette.
