Past & Present ist eine britische geschichtswissenschaftliche Zeitschrift, die eine führende Rolle bei der Entwicklung der Sozialgeschichte spielte. Sie wurde 1952 von marxistischen und nichtmarxistischen Historikern gegründet. Zu den marxistischen Historikern zählten Mitglieder der Communist Party Historians Group, unter ihnen E. P. Thompson.

Die Zeitschrift erscheint viermal jährlich bei der Oxford University Press im Auftrag der Past and Present Society.
