Peter Lalor (* 5. Februar 1827 in Tinakill, Irland ; † 9. Februar 1889, Melbourne, Australien) war einer der Hauptanführer der Eureka Stockade-Rebellion.

Lalor war in Tinakill in Irland geboren. Sein Vater war Grundeigentümer und politischer Gegner der britischen Präsenz in seinem Land. Peter wurde bei Carlton College und Trinity College in Dublin als Zivilingenieur ausgebildet. 1852 wanderte er nach Australien aus. Zuerst arbeitete er kurz auf der Bahnverbindung zwischen Melbourne und Geelong. Danach zog er sich nach Ovens Valley, um Gold zu suchen. Lalor führte die Bergarbeiter in ihrem Streit gegen die Verwaltung der Goldindustrie. Er wurde im Eureka Stockade verletzt und musste sich den Arm amputieren lassen. Seine Unterstützer versteckten ihn solange, bis klar wurde, dass die Bergarbeiter vor Gericht nicht schuldig gesprochen würden.
