Pye (sprich: [ˈpʰiːə]) ist ein Stadtteil von Osnabrück. Beliebt ist er bei seinen Bewohnern vor allem wegen seiner Lage als Stadtrandgebiet im Grünen bei gleichzeitig guter Verkehrsanbindung an die Stadt.

Pye war bis 1972 ein Dorf im Landkreis Osnabrück. Es gehörte zum Kirchspiel St. Johann in Osnabrück und war überwiegend katholisch geprägt. Seine Wirtschaft war auf die Landwirtschaft ausgerichtet. 1972 wurde es ein Stadtteil von Osnabrück. Seit 1978 bildet es ein eigenes Kirchspiel (St. Matthias).

In Pye liegt der Piesberg (Name wohl abgeleitet von „Pyes Berg“). Hier wurde noch im 19. und 20. Jahrhundert Kohle unter Tage abgebaut. Noch heute werden im Steinbruch am Piesberg Steine abgebaut. Daneben beherbergte bis Juni 2006 der Piesberg die größte Mülldeponie des Osnabrücker Landes. Am Piesberg befindet sich das Museum Industriekultur, das einen Überblick über die Geschichte des Bergbaus am Piesberg gibt.

In Pye gibt es eine Straße „Am Pyer Ding“. Dieser Name ist wohl an den alten germanischen Begriff Thing angelehnt - in Pye war also ein solches Thing.

Die Natur rund um Pye ist hauptsächlich von kleinen bis mittleren Wäldern, Wiesen und dem Stichkanal, Abzweig des Mittellandkanals, geprägt.
