Rentokil Initial ist ein britisches Unternehmen mit Firmensitz in London.

Im Unternehmen sind rund 70.000 Mitarbeiter (Stand:2007) beschäftigt. Rentokil Initial ist als Dienstleister im Gebäudemanagement und Hygeniesektor tätig und gehört zu den 100 größten Unternehmen im Vereinigten Königreich.

Rentokil Initial wurde 1924 von dem britischen Hochschullehrer Harold Maxwell-Lefroy am Imperial College in London gegründet. Maxwell-Lefroy suchte nach einem Weg, den Gescheckten Nagekäfer zu töten, der die Westminster Hall zu jener Zeit befallen hatte. [1] 1996 wurde der britische Konkurrent British Electric Traction übernommen.
