Die Festung von Rohtas (Urdu ‏قلعہ روہتاس‎) im Norden des heutigen Pakistan, Punjab wurde im Jahre 1541 von Sher Schah als Komplex massiver Verteidigungsbauwerke zum Bau beauftragt.

Die Hauptbefestigungen werden von über vier Kilometern langen massiven Mauern gebildet, die von monumentalen Toren durchbrochen sind. Innerhalb dieser Mauern befinden sich verschiedene Bastionen.

Da der Komplex nie eingenommen wurde, ist er bis heute nahezu unversehrt erhalten. Die Festung von Rohtas gilt daher als eines der wichtigsten Beispiele der Anfänge islamischer militärischer Architektur im asiatischen Raum.

Seit 1997 zählt die Festung zum UNESCO Weltkulturerbe.
