Aziz Salihu

Aziz Salihu (* 1. Mai 1954 in Banullë bei Priština, Jugoslawien) ist ein ehemaliger Boxer. Er vertrat Jugoslawien bei den Olympischen Sommerspielen 1984 in Los Angeles, Kalifornien, und gewann die Bronzemedaille in der Super-Schwergewichtsklasse. Salihu nahm zudem an den Olympischen Sommerspielen 1980 in Moskau und 1988 in Seoul teil, wo er es jeweils ins Viertelfinale schaffte.

Karriere

Salihu begann seine Karriere bereits im Alter von 15 Jahren. Er ist immer noch für viele Kosovaren „Sportler des Jahrhunderts“. Salihu gewann acht jugoslawische Meistertitel, fünf davon in Folge.
