School Sisters of Notre Dame

Arme Schulschwestern von Unserer Lieben Frau (School Sisters of Notre Dame - SSND) ist ein katholischer Frauenorden, der sich der Erziehung und Ausbildung junger Mädchen widmet.

Der Orden wurde im 19. Jahrhundert von Karolina Gerhardinger (1797-1879) in Neunburg vorm Wald gegründet und eröffnete weltweit viele katholischen Schulen. Insgesamt beschäftigt der Orden 5000 Ordensschwestern in Europa, Nord- und Südamerika, Asien und Afrika.
