Andere Regionen, in denen Subsea 7 vor Ort ist, sind Brasilien (11 %), asiatischer Pazifikraum (8%) und der Golf von Mexiko (7%).
Subsea 7 ist das Ergebnis mehrerer Fusionen zwischen DSND, Halliburton Subsea, Subsea Offshore, Rockwater und zuletzt in 2010 mit Acergy.
Seit August 2005 ist Subsea 7 an der Osloer Börse gelistet.
Subsea 7 ist der Sponsor des in der norwegischen Tippeligaen spielenden Fußballvereins Viking FK.
