Technology Governance

Technology Governance (engl.; Fremdwort auch im Deutschen; das Hybridwort "Technologie-Governance" oder das deutsche Äquivalent "Technologiegouvernanz" haben sich nicht durchsetzen können) bezeichnet die Governance, also die Steuerung durch die drei Sektoren (Staat, Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft) auf dem Gebiet der Technologie. Basis hierfür ist das Konzept der Innovation und der Techno-Economic Paradigm Shifts, also die Überlegungen Joseph A. Schumpeters, Christopher Freemans, Carlota Perez', usw.

Technology Governance ist ein wesentlicher Bestandteil der Lissabon-Strategie, des zentralen wirtschaftlichen und sozialen Entwicklungsprogramms der Europäischen Union.
