The Gramophone

Gramophone ist eine britische Zeitschrift für klassische Musik aus dem Hause Haymarket, angesiedelt in London.

Sie wurde 1923 von Compton Mackenzie gegründet. Früher nannte sie sich "The world's best classical music magazine", jetzt ist man auf den Marketingslogan "The world's unrivalled authority on classical music since 1923" umgeschwenkt.

Jedes Jahr werden von den Kritikern der Zeitschrift die Preisträger der Gramophone Awards gewählt.
