Time Zone

Time Zone ist ein Computer-Adventure Spiel, das von Roberta Williams für die Firma On-Line Systems (heute Sierra Entertainment) im Jahre 1982 für den Apple II und Apple II+ entwickelt wurde. Es handelt sich dabei um sehr umfangreiches Adventurespiel, das auf sechs doppelseitig beschriebenen Floppydisks ausgeliefert wurde. Das Spiel bot dem Spieler 1.500 verschiedene Orte, an denen er sich während des Spiels aufhalten konnte. Weiterhin gab es 39 verschiedene Spielverläufe, um das Adventure zu lösen.

Gameplay

Das Adventure erlaubt dem Spieler, durch die Zeit zu reisen und einzelne Rätsel zu lösen, während er Persönlichkeiten wie Benjamin Franklin, Cleopatra und Julius Caesar trifft. Trotz des verständlichen Ziels des Spieles waren die meisten Spieler von der Größe der Spielewelt überfordert.

Der Bildschirm des Spieles war in einen Grafik- und einen Textteil aufgesplittet. Die Grafiken wurden in Apples High-resolution-Format dargestellt, und der Text (jeweils vier Zeilen) stand im unteren Teil des Bildschirms.
