traditional wrap ist im Instrumentenbau die Bezeichnung für eine bestimmte Art der Führung des Zusatzbogens bei einer Quartventilposaune:

Bei der traditional wrap-Bauweise, auch geschlossene Bauweise genannt, windet sich das Rohr innerhalb des "Hauptbogens". Der Luftstrom fließt somit durch teilweise sehr enge Radien, was in einem größeren Luftwiderstand beim Spielen des Instrumentes resultiert.
