Twinset

Twinset

Ein Twinset ist ein Strickensemble in der Damenoberbekleidung. Es besteht aus der Kombination eines Pullovers mit einer darüber getragenen Strickjacke aus gleichem Material, meist einfarbig. Es wirkt feminin-elegant, ist dabei aber sportlicher als ein Kostüm.

Der Designer Otto Weisz des Herstellers edler Strickwaren Pringle of Scotland gilt als der Erfinder des Twinsets im Jahre 1934.
