Das Vienna's English Theatre ist ein englischsprachiges Theater in Wien. Es befindet sich im 8. Gemeindebezirk.

Die Bühne wurde im Jahr 1963 vom Regisseur Franz Schafranek und seiner Frau, der amerikanischen Schauspielerin Ruth Brinkmann gegründet. Es ist außerhalb Großbritanniens das älteste englische Theater in Europa.

Ursprünglich war es als Sommertheater für englische Touristen in Wien geplant. Schon im ersten Jahr wurde die Spielzeit auf das ganze Jahr ausgedehnt. Die erste Spielstätte war das Palais Erzherzog Karl. Das Theater musste jedoch einige Male umziehen. Seit 1974 ist es an seinem heutigen Standort – in der Josefstadt – untergebracht.

Im Jahr 1976 wurde hier das Drama The Red Devil Battery Sign von Tennessee Williams welturaufgeführt. Für eine andere Uraufführung Three Tall Women von Edward Albees erhielt das Theater den Pulitzer-Preis.

Das Theater wurde im Laufe der Jahre auch um das Théâtre Français de Vienne und um das Teatro Italiano di Vienna erweitert. Mit seinen 230 Sitzplätzen hat die Bühne, die heute von der Tochter des Gründers Julia Schafranek geleitet wird, einen festen Platz in der Wiener Theaterszene. Im November 2004 wurde das Theater mit dem Nestroy-Theaterpreis/Spezialpreis ausgezeichnet.
