Vill ist ein Stadtteil (Katastralgemeinde) Innsbrucks. 1942 wurde er nach Innsbruck eingemeindet.

Der Ort liegt am Abhang einer Mittelgebirgsterrasse südlich vom Innsbrucker Zentrum, auf 817 m Höhe. In Vill fließt der Viller Bach mit dem aus Igls kommenden 5 km langen Ramsbach zusammen. 1,5 km südlich von Vill liegt der bekannte Wintersportort Igls, welcher ebenfalls ein Stadtteil von Innsbruck ist.

In Vill wurden Funde aus der La-Tène-Zeit gemacht, die vermutlich von einem illyrischen Stamm sind. Man fand steinerne Überreste einer auf einem Hügel gelegenen ehemaligen Behausung.

Der Name hat eine romanische Sprachwurzel. 1251 wurde die "villa Ville" erstmals in einer Urkunde genannt. Daraus leitete sich der heutige Name des Dorfes ab. Die Pfarrkirche von St. Martin ist seit 1397 durch eine Stiftungsurkunde nachweisbar. Sie zeigt noch den gotischen Stil ihrer Errichtung, wurde aber 1790 im Rokokostil umgestaltet.

Vill bietet heute noch ein dörfliches Erscheinungsbild mit etlichen Bauernhöfen und hat ca. 540 Einwohner.
