William Campbell of Breadalbane

William Alfred Hendry Campbell of Breadalbane (* 23. März 1863 in Memel, Bezirk Königsberg; † 14. März 1944 in Berlin) war ein deutscher Generalmajor.

Die Vorfahren Campbells entstammen einem schottischen Adelsgeschlecht. Aufgewachsen als Sohn des für Memel und für die Hauptstadt des Großfürstentums Finnland Helsingfors (Helsinki) eingesetzten Konsuls der britischen Krone wurde Campbell 1878 in die Preußische Hauptkadettenanstalt in Berlin-Lichterfelde aufgenommen. Von 1894 bis 1914 arbeitete er dort als Lehrer. Im Kriegseinsatz des Ersten Weltkriegs als Offizier mehrfach verwundet, wurde er 1919 nach Beförderung zum Generalmajor pensioniert. Nach Ende des Ersten Weltkriegs arbeitete als Sprachlehrer in Berlin-Lichterfelde.

Campbell ist auf dem Parkfriedhof in Berlin-Lichterfelde beigesetzt.
