Ghor, auch Ghwor (Paschtu/Dari: ‏غور‎) ist eine Provinz in Afghanistan mit der Hauptstadt Chaghcharan in 2.280 m Höhe am Fluss Hari Rud.

Chaghcharan hat einen Flugplatz (34° 31′ 30″ N, 65° 15′ 55″ O34.52565.2652777777787).[2].

Das Minarett von Jam ist in der Provinz Ghor eine Sehenswürdigkeit, es steht auf der Liste des UNESCO-Welterbes.
