Bo Waldemar Lindgren (* 26. Februar 1927 in Lidingö; † 4. Juni 2011[1] ebenda) war ein bekannter schwedischer Schachkomponist.

Schachkomposition

Lindgren veröffentlichte seit 1942 mehr als 500 Schachaufgaben verschiedener Genres. 1966 wurde er zum Internationalen Schiedsrichter für Schachkomposition[2] ernannt. 1980 wurde er bereits Großmeister für Schachkompositionen.[3]

Lindgren komponierte unter anderem im Böhmischen Stil.[4] Nachfolgende Aufgabe zeigt einen Task mit sechsfacher Unterverwandlung in Springer bzw. Turm.

Redakteur

Von 1952 bis 1957 war Lindgren Redakteur der Aufgabenabteilung von Schackbladet. Ab 1966 war er Mitarbeiter in Stella Polaris.[5]
