Bros

Bros ist der Name einer Popband der 1980er Jahre. Ständige Mitglieder waren die Zwillinge Matt und Luke Goss (* 29. September 1968). Bis 1989 gehörte auch noch Bassist Craig Logan zur Band.

Mit ihren ersten acht Singles erreichten sie in Großbritannien die Top 10 und hatten mit I Owe You Nothing einen Nummer-eins-Hit. Im Jahr 1988 bekamen sie einen Brit Award als Best Newcomer. Anfang der 90er ließ der Erfolg nach. Matt arbeitete als Solo-Musiker weiter und konnte einige Charterfolge für sich verbuchen. Luke versuchte sich als Schauspieler. Craig ist im Management des Labels RCA Records und war Manager von Pink, Sade und Tina Turner.

Ihr bekanntester Synthpop-Erfolg When will I be famous wird immer wieder von anderen Bands in verschiedenen Stilen gecovert (z.B. Westlife, Audiosmog feat. Tobias Schlegl, Mehdi u.a.).
