BUSINESSEUROPE ist eine europäische Arbeitgeberorganisation mit Sitz in Brüssel.

Geschichte

Unter verschiedenen Namen bestand der Verband seit 1949. Bis zum 23. Januar 2007 trug er den Namen "Union of Industrial and Employers' Confederation of Europe" (UNICE).

Die Organisation besteht aus 60 Arbeitsgruppen. In diesen Gruppen sind arbeiten 1200 Fachleute, die bei wesentlichen Veranstaltungen und Gipfeln der Europäischen Union anwesend sind. BUSINESSEUROPE arbeitet an Gesetzesentwürfen und EU-Programmen mit. Businesseurope zählt nach der ERT (European Roundtable of Industrialists), mit dem Businesseurope zusammenarbeitet, zu den größten Lobbyorganisationen der EU.
