Die CCAAT/enhancer-binding-Proteine (C/EBP) sind eine Familie von Transkriptionsfaktoren, die notwendig für eine normale Zelldifferenzierung und -funktion in verschiedenen Geweben in Wirbeltieren sind. Es gibt im Menschen sechs verschiedene C/EBPs, sie alle binden im Zellkern an die Nukleotid-Sequenz CCAAT.[1]
