China News Service

China News Service (CNS) ist nach der Nachrichtenagentur Xinhua die zweitgrößte staatliche Nachrichtenagentur in der Volksrepublik China.

CNS wurde 1952 gegründet. Die Nachrichtenagentur hat Agenturbüros in jeder Provinz auf dem Festland in China sowie auch in Hongkong und Macau. Des Weiteren bestehen Agenturstandorte in verschiedenen Ländern, unter anderem in den Vereinigten Staaten, Japan, Frankreich und Australien. Geleitet wird CNS gegenwärtig von Beixian Liu. CNS hat den Hauptsitz in Peking.
