Creel ist eine Kleinstadt im mexikanischen Bundesstaat Chihuahua auch in der Liste der Pueblo Mágicos eingetragen. Sie wurde nach Enrique Creel Cuilty, dem letzten Gouverneur benannt.

Creel befindet sich in Chihuahua direkt an der Bahnstrecke des CHEPE, der nebenbei auch durch El Fuerte führt. Creel ist klimatisch sehr interessant: im Winter kann es auch schneien und das Thermometer knackt an manchen Wintertagen nicht die Nullgradgrenze.

Geographie

Creel liegt im Norden des Bundesstaates Mexiko, 290 km östlich von Chihuahua-Stadt.

Die Stadt grenzt im Norden an San Juanito, Westen an Bocoyna, im Süden an San Ignacio Arareko, an Guachochi im Südwesten, und im Osten an Divisadero.
