Egyptian Financial Group-Hermes

Die Egyptian Financial Group-Hermes (oder kurz EFG-Hermes) ist die größte ägyptische Investmentbank.[1] Sie wurde 1984 gegründet.

EFG-Hermes besitzt Filialen in Ägypten, den Vereinigten Arabischen Emiraten, Saudi-Arabien, Katar, Oman, Kuwait und im Libanon. Insgesamt arbeiten 850 Menschen aus 30 Staaten bei EFG-Hermes.

Die Familie von Husni Mubarak soll im Februar 2011 an der Anlagetochter EFG-Hermes Private Equity (BVI) mit 35 Prozent beteiligt gewesen sein.[1]
