Esther Caroline Duflo (* 25. Oktober 1972 in Paris) ist eine französische Ökonomin. Sie erhielt im Jahr 2010 die John Bates Clark Medal für ihre Forschungsarbeiten im Bereich von Feldexperimenten. Duflo ist Professorin für Entwicklungsökonomie am Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The Economist zählte sie 2008 zu den acht einflussreichsten Ökonomen der Welt.[1]

2009 wurde sie MacArthur Fellow.
