Die Foster Electric Co.,Ltd. wurde 1949 gegründet. Die Firma war einer bis in die 1970er Jahre der größten Hersteller von Lautsprechern weltweit und beschäftigte 20.000 Menschen in 9 Ländern. Heute wird die Foster Electric Co. Ltd. an der Tokyo Stock Exchange gehandelt.[1]
