Graphics Environment for Multimedia

GEM (Graphics Environment for Multimedia) ist eine Erweiterung, welche OpenGL-Grafik-Ausgabemöglichkeiten zu Pure data hinzufügt, einer datenstromorientierten Programmierumgebung für Audio-Manipulation in Echtzeit. Es ist unter der GPL lizenziert.

Geschrieben wurde GEM von Mark Danks bei Sony Computer Entertainment. GEM wird derzeit von IOhannes m. zmölnig am Institut für Elektronische Musik und Akustik in Graz verwaltet.
