Max Apple (* 22. Oktober 1941 in Grand Rapids, Michigan) ist ein US-amerikanischer Schriftsteller, Drehbuchautor und Filmproduzent.

Leben

Max Apple machte seinen Bachelor of Arts im Jahr 1963 und seinen Doktortitel Ph.D. im Jahr 1970 an der University of Michigan. Nachdem er 29 Jahre Kreatives Schreiben an der Rice University in Houston, Texas gelehrt hatte, zog er sich zurück. Neben Romanen und Kurzgeschichten schrieb er auch Drehbücher, beispielsweise für den Film The Air Up There.
