Der Chef des Imperialen Generalstabes (Chief of the Imperial General Staff - CIGS) oder Chef des Reichsgeneralstabes war der Chef des Generalstabes der britischen Landstreitkräfte zwischen 1908 und 1964.
Da es nach dem Ausscheiden von Lord Roberts (1904) keinen Oberbefehlshaber der britischen Armee mehr gab, war der Chef des Imperialen Generalstabes (von 1904 bis 1908 Chief of the General Staff) der militärische Kopf der Armee des Britischen Empires. Nach 1964 wurde die Funktion wieder als Chief of the General Staff bezeichnet.
