Pieter-Dirk Uys (* 28. September 1945 in Kapstadt) ist ein südafrikanischer Satiriker, Komiker und Autor.

Leben

Uys wurde als Travestiekünstler in Südafrika insbesondere in seiner Rolle von Evita Bezuidenhout bekannt. Als Autor schrieb er mehrere Bücher. Er engagierte sich als Aktivist gegen die Pandemie AIDS in Südafrika, wofür er mehrere Ehrendoktortitel von Universitäten in Südafrika erhielt. Uys lebt in Darling, Südafrika.
