Die Seehafenstadt Port Everglades in Broward County, Florida besitzt einen der größten Containerhäfen der US-amerikanischen Ostküste und einen bedeutenden Basishafen der Kreuzfahrtindustrie.

Port Everglades liegt an der Südostküste der Floridas und wird von den Städten Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood und Dania Beach eingerahmt. Im größeren Maßstab ist es rund 37 Kilometer nördlich von Miami, 77 Kilometer südlich von West Palm Beach beziehungsweise 500 Kilometer südlich von Jacksonville angeordnet. Das Stadtgebiet hat eine Ausdehnung von nur knapp neun Quadratkilometern, von denen etwa drei Viertel auf dem Gebiet der Stadt Hollywood liegen. Anders als der Name zunächst vermuten ließe, ist Port Everglades kein Bestandteil der Florida Everglades.

Ursprünglich als Lake Mabel bekannt, entwickelte sich Port Everglades seit der Inbetriebnahme des Tiefwasserhafens im Jahr 1927 zu einem bedeutenden Wirtschaftszentrum in Süd-Florida. Jährlich laufen über 5000 Schiffe den Hafen an und schlagen mehr als 23 Millionen Tonnen Ladung um. Neben dem Umschlag von Containern, flüssigen und festen Massengütern zählt das Kreuzfahrtgeschäft zu den Schwerpunkten des Hafens. Daneben verfügt der Hafen auch über eine Basis der US Navy.
