Geschichte

Seaboard World Airlines wurde am 16. September 1946 als Seaboard & Western Airlines gegründet. Im April 1961 wurde sie in Seaboard World Airlines umbenannt. Mit der Vorstellung und Übernahme der Douglas DC-8 begann für die Linie die Jet-Aera.

Seaboard World Airlines DC-8 N868F auf dem Flughafen von Pisa im Jahre 1974.

Die Airline fusionierte am 1. Oktober 1980 mit der Airline Flying Tiger Line.
