Wairoa River (Tasman)

Wairoa ist ein Fluss im Norden der Südinsel von Neuseeland.

Neben ihm gibt es noch weitere Flüsse mit diesem Namen in Neuseeland, da in der Sprache der Maori Wairoa der Begriff für langes Wasser ist.

Er fließt 45 Kilometer in nördlicher Richtung bis er zusammen mit dem Wai-iti River den Waimea River bildet. Dieser fließt im südlichen Ende der Tasman Bay nahe Richmond ins Meer.
