Die Worldwide Association of Business Coaches (WABC) ist ein internationaler Coaching-Verband.
Er wurde 2002 gegründet und ging aus der 1997 gegründeten kanadischen National Association of Business Coaches (NABC) hervor.[1] Nach eigenen Angaben ist er der erste internationale Coaching-Verband, der sich ausschließlich dem Coaching im Professionsbereich (Business Coaching) widmete. Die WABC richtet sich sowohl an interne wie an externe Coaches, die in Wirtschaftsunternehmen, Wissenschafts- und Regierungsorganisationen oder sonstigen Institutionen tätig sind. Sie entwickelt und fördert weltweit die fortschreitende Professionalisierung von Coaching und akkreditiert Zertifizierungs- und Ausbildungsgänge zum Business Coach.
Derzeit verzeichnet die WABC nahezu 1.000 Mitglieder, von denen ein Großteil in den englischsprachigen Ländern ansässig ist, vorwiegend in Nordamerika und Großbritannien.
Für Mitglieder sind Aufnahmebedingungen hinsichtlich der Wirtschafts- und Coachingerfahrung zu erfüllen und Klientenreferenzen erforderlich.
Zurzeit ist die Psychologin Wendy Johnson Präsidentin und Vorstandsvorsitzende der WABC.
