Clarence ist ein Dorf im Cedar County im Osten des US-Bundesstaates Iowa. Clarence hat 1008 Einwohner und eine Fläche von 1.6 km². Die Bevölkerungsdichte liegt bei 615.6/km². Das Dorf wird vom U.S. Highway 30 tangiert und liegt nahe der Grenze zum Jones County. Clarence hieß ursprünglich Onion Grove, da in der Umgebung viele wilde Zwiebeln wuchsen.
