Corporate A-S-E

Corporate A-S-E ist eine Schriftsippe von Kurt Weidemann. Sie entstand von 1985 bis 1989 und wurde 1990 bei URW digitalisiert und veröffentlicht.

Die Corporate A-S-E hat mit Kursiven, Kapitälchen und Mediävalziffern insgesamt 47 Schriftschnitte und besteht aus den folgenden drei Schriftfamilien:

Die Corporate A-S-E wurde im Auftrag und für Daimler-Benz als Hausschrift entworfen und war nur in den ersten Jahren nach ihrer Veröffentlichung exklusiv für Daimler-Benz reserviert. Heute verwenden unter anderem die Parteien Die Linke[1] und FDP[2] diese Schrift für ihre Publikationen. Wesentliches Ziel beim Entwurf der Corporate A-S-E war es, über die stilistischen Varianten hinweg, eine hohe Wiedererkennbarkeit zu erreichen.
