Costumbrismo

Der Costumbrismo (dt. Kostumbrismus) ist eine literarische Strömung im 19. Jahrhundert, die die Sitten und Gebräuche der spanischen Gesellschaft schildert.

Der lateinamerikanische Stil des Costumbrismo hat in vielen Regionen durch die Betonung des jeweiligen gesellschaftlichen Lokalkolorits die Entstehung einer eigenständigen Literatur begünstigt.
