Daddy DJ ist eine Tanz- und Gesangs-Formation aus Frankreich und besteht aus den Bandmitgliedern David Le Roy, Jean-Christophe Berval, genannt Charly.

Platzierungen

Die Debüt-Single DADDY DJ landete auf Platz 2 der französischen Charts, hielt sich dort volle 10 Wochen lang und hat Mehrfach-Platin erreicht. In Deutschland schaffte es der Song im Herbst 2001 bis auf Platz 7. In der Schweiz erreichte die Single nur Platz 22 der Charts, auch mit den Nachfolgesingles The Girl In Red (Platz 41) und Over You (Platz 96) konnten Daddy DJ hier nicht wirklich erfolgreich punkten. Auch in Österreich kam die Debüt-Single über einen 8. Platz in den Charts nicht hinaus.

2008 versuchte die Band ein Comeback mit dem Album Rock Machine in Frankreich.[1] Außerdem erschien ein Remix des alten Daddy DJ-Hits auf dem britischen Clubland-Sampler heraus.[2]
