Ekurhuleni ist eine Metropolitan Municipality (Metropolregion), die der lokalen Regierung der Region East Rand der Provinz Gauteng in Südafrika angehört.[1] Der Name Ekurhuleni bedeutet auf Xitsonga „Ort des Friedens“.[2] Der Verwaltungssitz Ekurhulenis ist Germiston. Amtierende Bürgermeisterin ist Lentheng Helen Ntombi Mekgwe.[3]
