Electronic Customer Care

Der Begriff Electronic Customer Care (ECC) (wortwörtlich übersetzt „Elektronische Kundenpflege“) bezeichnet diejenigen Maßnahmen, die zur Verbesserung und Aufrechterhaltung von Kundenbeziehungen auf elektronischem Wege dienlich sind.

Der immer stärker werdende Wettbewerb macht es erforderlich, dass Unternehmen ihre Geschäftsprozesse und besonders ihre Kundenpflege elektronisch unterstützen. Dies erleichtert eine Differenzierung von anderen Unternehmen über zusätzliche Informationen und Dienstleistungen.

Das Customer-Relationship-Management (CRM) ist ein solches ECC-Konzept.
