Event Information Table

Die Event Information Table (EIT) ist Teil der DVB-SI und spezifiziert nach ETSI (ETS 300 468).

Die EIT enthält Informationen für die Electronic Program Guide (EPG) und die zeitrichtige Aufnahmesteuerung.

Nach IEC 62216-1 (International Electrotechnical Commission) sind folgende Werte beschrieben:

  • DVB-DescriptorTag: 77: 0x4D short_event_descriptor (Mandatory - zwingend)
    • → Kurzbeschreibung des Event
  • DVB-DescriptorTag: 78: 0x4E extended_event_descriptor (Optional - optional)
    • → Ausführliche Beschreibung des Event
  • DVB-DescriptorTag: 80: 0x50 component_descriptor (Mandatory - zwingend)
    • → Beschreibung der Daten, z. B. Video, Audio, Auflösung, Seitenverhältnis, Bildwiederholfrequenz
  • DVB-DescriptorTag: 83: 0x53 CA_identifier_descriptor (Conditional – bedingt)
    • → Zeigt an, ob Verschlüsselung für das Event verwendet wird
  • DVB-DescriptorTag: 84: 0x54 content_descriptor (Recommended – empfohlen)
    • → Klassifikation (Programmart bzw. Kategorie der Sendung), z.B. Krimi, Unterhaltung, Doku, Erotik, ...
  • DVB-DescriptorTag: 94: 0x5E multilingual_component_descriptor (Optional - optional)
    • → Mehrsprachige Beschreibung des Event Inhalts
  • DVB-DescriptorTag: 85: 0x55 parental_rating_descriptor (Optional – optional; für den Empfänger aber Mandatory - zwingend)
    • → Altersbeschränkung für das entsprechende Event, ab 12, 16, 18 Jahren
  • DVB-DescriptorTag: 79: 0x4F time_shifted_event_descriptor (Forbidden – verboten)
    • → Zeigt an, dass ein Event in einer zeitversetzten Kopie eines anderen Events enthalten ist. Es darf nicht verwendet werden.
  • DVB-DescriptorTag: 95: 0x5F private_data_specifier_descriptor (Conditional – bedingt)
    • → Darin können bisher nicht berücksichtigte herstellerspezifische Informationen an die Zielplattform übertragen werden.
  • DVB-DescriptorTag: 105: 0x69 PDC_descriptor (Conditional – bedingt)
    • → PDC bedeutet Program Delivery Control. Hier wird das VPS-Label übertragen
  • DVB-DescriptorTag: 133: 0x85 preferred_name_identifier_descriptor (Optional - optional)
    • → Hiermit kann der "service name" aus der "Service Description Table" überschrieben werden.
