Lieber Onkel Bill (Originaltitel: Family Affair) ist eine US-amerikanische Familienserie, die man heute allerdings dem Sitcom-Genre zuordnen würde.

Diese Serie lief von 1966 bis 1971 in 138 Folgen beim Fernsehsender CBS und war auch in Deutschland, wo sie ab 1968 ausgestrahlt wurde, ein Riesenerfolg. Auch die Titelmelodie von Frank de Vol wurde sehr bekannt. 2002 entstand ein Remake mit Tim Curry als Butler.

Handlung

Bill Davis ist ein wohlhabender Junggeselle. Nach dem Tod seines Bruders ziehen seine Nichte Buffy und sein Neffe Jody, die nun Vollwaisen sind, bei ihm ein und bringen sein Leben durcheinander. Auch Davis' Butler Giles French hat so allerhand Probleme bei der Erziehung der Kinder.
