Flamethrower oder Dragon's Breath ist eine in den Vereinigten Staaten von Amerika angebotene Flintenmunition im Kaliber 12. In roten Plastikhülsen befinden sich feine Metallspäne aus Zirconium, die sich beim Abschuss entzünden und einen mehr als 10 m weit wirkenden Flammenstrahl erzeugen, der einen Durchmesser bis zu 2 m erreichen kann.

Dieser Munitionstyp wurde wahrscheinlich um 1998 in den USA entwickelt und ist in Deutschland verboten. Der Name bedeutet im deutschen „Flammenwerfer“, ist aber aufgrund der unterschiedlichen Technik und Brennstoffs nicht mit einem solchen vergleichbar.

Diese Patrone kann nicht in (halb-)automatischen Flinten verwendet werden, da erstens der Rückstoß beim Abfeuern nicht ausreicht, um den Repetiermechanismus zu betätigen, und zweitens der Feuerstrahl für 3 bis 5 Sekunden bestehen bleibt und somit ein zu großes Risiko beim Ausstoßen einer noch brennenden Hülse gegeben wäre.
