Flûtes de Champagne

Flûte de Champagne (oder Champagnerflüten) sind ein salziges Aperitif-Gebäck der Bäckerei Cornu aus Champagne im Schweizer Kanton Waadt.

Die Flûtes sind ca. 10 bis 12 cm lang, rund und mit Sesam-, Kümmel- oder Mohnsamen belegt. Eine andere Sorte ist gleich lang und besteht aus verdrehten Blätterteigstreifen. Diese Sorte gibt es zusätzlich mit Käsegeschmack.

Das Gebäck wird unter diesem Namen seit 1934 hergestellt und vertrieben. Weil es in Frankreich unter dem Namen "Recette de Champagne" (=Rezept aus Champagne) vertrieben wird, sieht das Comité interprofessionnel du vin de Champagne eine Verwässerung der Ursprungsbezeichnung Champagne und hat daher im Juli 2005 in Paris Klage eingereicht.
