Franz Josef Kallmann

Franz Josef Kallmann (* 24. Juli 1897 in Neumarkt / Schlesien; † 12. Mai 1965 in New York City) war ein deutsch-amerikanischer Psychiater, der durch Einsatz der Zwillingsforschung Pionierarbeit in der Erforschung genetischer Ursachen von psychiatrischen Erkrankungen geleistet hat. Nach ihm ist das Kallmann-Syndrom benannt. 1936 emigrierte Kallmann in die USA.
