Grey Global Group

Die Grey Group ist ein weltweiter Verbund von Kommunikations-Agenturen. Der Ursprung des Unternehmens sind die 1917 von Larry Valenstein gegründete "Grey Studios", eine Firma für Direktmarketing (Mailings). In der Folge wuchs das Leistungsspektrum und der Name wechselte zu "Grey Advertising". In den 1960er expandierte das Unternehmen zu einem globalen Netz. Der Umsatz 2003 betrug 1,3 Mrd. US-Dollar bei mehr als 10.000 Angestellten. 2005 wurde Grey Teil der WPP Group.

Vorsitzender und CEO der Grey Global Group war bis 2005 Edward ("Ed") H. Meyer, seitdem ist Jim Heekin President & Chairman of the Board.

Die Grey Group Germany wuchs aus der 1953 in Düsseldorf gegründeten Agentur "Werbe-Gramm"; sie ist Mitglied im GWA.
