International Series

Die ATP World Tour 250 (bis einschließlich 2008 ATP International Series, 1990 bis 1997 ATP World Series) umfasst eine Reihe von Turnieren auf der ATP Tour. Ihren Namen trägt die Serie aufgrund der Tatsache, dass ab der Saison 2009 250 Weltranglistenpunkte für den Sieg bei einem Turnier dieser Kategorie vergeben werden. Die Turniere der World Tour 250 sind in der Wertigkeit sowohl unterhalb der ATP World Tour Masters 1000 als auch der ATP World Tour 500 angesiedelt.

Aktuell besteht die ATP 250 Series aus 38 Turnieren, 20 davon werden auf Hartplatz ausgetragen, 13 auf Sand und 5 auf Rasenplatz. Alle Turniere werden im K.-o.-System durchgeführt, wobei beim Großteil der Turniere das Hauptfeld aus 32 Spielern besteht. Mehr Teilnehmer treten in New Haven (48 Teilnehmer) und Halle (56) an, weniger in Auckland, Sydney und Viña del Mar (je 28).
