Kenneth Todd Ham (* 12. Dezember 1964 in Plainfield, New Jersey, USA) ist ein amerikanischer Astronaut.

Ham erhielt 1987 einen Bachelor in Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik von der United States Naval Academy. 1996 erwarb er von der Naval Postgraduate School einen Master in Luftfahrttechnik.

Ham trat in die U.S. Navy ein, wurde zum Marineflieger ausgebildet und erwarb 1989 seine Pilotenlizenz. Er ist Absolvent der United States Naval Test Pilot School.

Astronautentätigkeit

Ham wurde im August 1998 für das Astronautenprogramm der NASA ausgewählt. Er war als Verbindungssprecher (CapCom) für diverse Space-Shuttle- sowie ISS-Missionen tätig.

Im Frühjahr 2007 wurde Ham als Pilot für seinen ersten Raumflug ausgewählt. Der Start von STS-124 erfolgte am 31. Mai 2008.

Privates

Ham ist zum zweiten Mal verheiratet und hat zwei Kinder aus erster Ehe.
