MNG Airlines A.Ş., auch MNG Airlines genannt, ist eine Fluggesellschaft mit Sitz in Istanbul, Türkei. Das Unternehmen ist auf Frachtflüge im Linien- und Charterbetrieb, hauptsächlich im Nahen Osten und in den Fernen Osten, die USA und zu einigen europäischen Zielen spezialisiert. Die Hauptflughäfen der MNG sind der Ataturk International Airport (IST) in Istanbul, der Antalya International Airport (AYT) und der Flughafen Brüssel (BRU).

Geschichte

Die Fluggesellschaft wurde im Februar 1996 gegründet und nahm den Flugbetrieb am 30. November 1997 auf. Das Transatlantikgeschäft begann 1998 mit einem Flug von Frankfurt am Main nach Toronto. Darauf folgte der Linienverkehr in die USA am 8. November 1998.

MNG Airlines war bis 2006 Passagier -und Cargo Fluggesellschaft, hat aber den Passagierbetrieb 2006 eingestellt und ist seit dem stärker im Cargobetrieb tätig.

Für Flüge nach Paris-CDG und London-Luton fliegt MNG Airlines hauptsächlich ihre eigene Cargo, aber sie arbeitet auch eng mit UPS, DHL, Air France und Lufthansa zusammen und fliegt auch deren Cargo in Wet-Lease-Betrieb zu diversen Destinationen.

MNG Airlines fliegt im Cargo-Linienverkehr folgenden Flughäfen an (Stand: Oktober 2008):
Köln/Bonn, Frankfurt am Main, Leipzig-Halle, London-Luton, London-Stansted, Paris (CDG), Luxemburg, Lissabon, Shannon und Dublin.

Im Charterverkehr bedient MNG Airlines Flughäfen weltweit.
